Have you Had Enough?

Are you in a place where you think if one more thing is placed on you, you will crack? That you will go crazy if one more thing happens? Do you feel like Job, one servant after another coming in and telling you something’s wrong that your life is falling in around your ears? Well you have found your self in the best of places. Sure, it may be the stinky swamp of despair. It may seem like you are in the loneliest of deserts with no thought of hope or rescue around. No hope of the water of relief. But it is the best of places for God to prove Himself to you. Weary one there is hope! Look to our God! Get a fresh vision of who He is! Is the place where you are bigger than your God? If He can create the universe out of nothing is He not able to give strength when you have completely empty?
He is the Creator!
He is your wisdom when your life makes absolutely no sense.
He is your direction and your way when you don’t know which way to turn.
He is your strength when you are completely weak and have no ounce of strength.
He is your hope when all around you is despair.
He is your resource when you think you are at the end of your rope financially and you don’t know how your needs will be met.
When your future looks terrifying when it keeps you up at night remember He is there. He knows what’s in the future because He holds the future and if He holds you and the future trust Him!
He is what we need but oh how sweet He is when that ache in your heart just won’t stop. When you don’t have the answers for that situation you are in. He is your comforter when you are alone and the darkness around you in closing in on you. He is that shoulder to lean on and cry on when you are alone and the ache is too much. He is that hand to lift you out of the pit of despair. He is the Rock which we can run to and stand on when all else around you is shaking!
Some may think the answer is in people, drugs, alcohol, smoking, music, sleep, books, movies, food anything to soothe and erase the hurt. Oh but it is not the answer the answer is Jesus. He is the answer to the hurt, the confusion, the despair, the fear. You need answers? Run to Jesus! You think you can’t bear any more? Run to Jesus! He said “Come unto me all ye that are heavy laden and I will give you rest” You need rest for a weary soul? Run to Jesus!
Remember he is the Great I am and He’s never going to change. He is your anchor in this storm… trust me He is more than enough for the trial you are in because He’s proven himself more than enough through mine.
Try this… write all your burdens struggles and trials your worries cares and fears on one side of a sheet then on the other write God in big letters. Then remember every promise He’s made to you. Your problems will get smaller and smaller and smaller until all you can see if Jesus!
